AFTER 132 YEARS … END OF AN ERA FOR VIRGINVILLE HOTEL
With bittersweet sentiments tugging at our emotional heartstrings, we bid farewell to a plethora of loyal customers and friends, and to treasured memories, as we are officially closed as of Sunday August 20, 2017
TRULY – we genuinely THANK all of our customers who have made the Virginville Hotel their special place to dine with family and friends.
The response we have received over the last two weeks has been overwhelming and WE are SINCERLY GRATEFUL for all the well wishes and kind words.
Without question, this Hotel has stood the test of time. While changing restaurant business dynamics have taken their toll, the wonderful recollections will exist forever.
And we would be remiss without extending a generous THANK YOU to our Executive Chef, John Warner and Staff.
YOU ALL WILL BE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN…..OUR LIVES HAVE BEEN ENRICHED AS A RESULT OF GETTING TO KNOW EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!
With heartfelt sincerity,
Richard and Wendy Hess, Proprietors
PS. We will keep you updated to any future happenings…..

A NOTICE TO ALL OF OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND FRIENDS
As time moves forward, there comes a point when we must follow in that same direction.
For the last 7 1/2 years we have been proudly serving our community with quality food at a fair price in a family-friendly atmosphere. After numerous months of deep thought and consideration we are retiring from the restaurant business and will be closing our doors on or before August 27, 2017. I know our closing will be disappointing to many. Please know that we have gone above and beyond trying to compete in a marketplace that continues to be challenging for independently owned restaurants/bars. Continual cost increases in food, taxes, and insurance along with a shrinking employee resource pool has forced our hand to speed up our decision.
It has been a great pleasure to serve each and every one of our customers through the years. The friendship, laughs, and great events will be memories we all can share and have been very special to us. In the coming weeks please stop by to reminisce, we would love to see you!
We genuinely want to THANK all the patrons who have made the Hotel their special place to dine with family and friends. Our lives have been enriched for having known all of you.
Again, thank you for your loyal patronage and for your understanding, we will truly miss you all. Your support has meant so much. Thank you from the bottom of our heart!
